But what we're really looking for is, you know, have an effect on people's health that you can prove.
And that's where we're really short for any of these things.
Yeah, I mean, I think the supplement story, the problem is the companies make bold claims.
They have no data to support them.
And as you said, it's unregulated.
So they basically convince people of their supplement's impact without anything to back it up.
All right.
And
And there are many out there that are heavily marketing.
I mean, I'm seeing these in vending machines in airports now.
And I mean, just crazy.
Now, should anybody, my patients, they often come in and they have a long list of supplements, you know, that they take.
I say, you know, that's really good to enrich your urine.
but you don't need these things because you have a very healthy diet.
So for people who are healthy without a specific deficiency, like a vitamin deficiency or something, there's no benefit to taking any of these supplements.
There may be some specific reasons that certain people, because of their dietary intolerance or a vitamin deficiency, that's a different matter.
But otherwise, again, we just don't have evidence that they have benefit.
And we have people that are taking hundreds of these
Like, you know, Brian Johnson and, you know, Ray Kurzweil and advocating that they're following followers.
And it's just crazy.
