You know, we don't know a a lot about except for that he would have been schooled fairly traditionally in Zoroastrian traditions, religion, scripture, that co kind of thing.

That he was very interested in e intellectual pursuits, and we know that when he he becomes king of kings, he himself sets up a really interesting court where he brings scholars and

All scientists and religious thinkers all together in his court.

So that's something that was very important to him.

We can can we assume that that's an environment that he also grew up in, in perhaps in uh Firuzabad, where the one of Ardashir's palaces.

You know, we that's what we think is is what he where he would have grown up and been educated.

We uh Aramaic was the sort

Mm l language of the street, perhaps is a way of putting Middle Persian, he would have also spoken, and then probably Greek too.

So we we certainly his inscriptions are trilingual and people would have been able to communicate in multiple languages.

So he would have studied languages, he would have studied traditions, religious traditions, but also

military traditions too.

He was an amazing general and a commander and would have been schooled in that all the way through.

The cavalry is the very, very sort of instrumental part of the Sasanian military throughout the whole of its rule, really.

And so that's where we think he would have been most engaged in in terms of military scholar schooling.

Yeah, he left.

I mean Shapoor especially left us these sort of rather long and detailed inscriptions about what he did.

And it's this very clear expression really of uh how we wanted to be remembered.

And we have amazing sculptural reliefs as well.

But and multiple versions of them.

So they're not just one uh you know, isolated case, but we have repeated versions of these stories that Shapur wanted to be remembered by and about his family and about who ruled with him and how he was connected.
