I just happened to put it out on the table, got my computer out.

And he comes by to take the tickets.
And he says, is that a good book?
And we start a conversation and, you know, every week.

He would tell me about the civil rights activists in his family.
He would ask me how things are going at Penn.
What about the demonstrations and all sorts of things.
And, you know, unfortunately just, uh, he just retired.
I say, unfortunately for me, because we had a great relationship over a couple of years.
Um,
Which just sparked because he asked about the book and I told him why I liked the book, what I learned about the book.
Eventually, the next week I saw him, I brought him a signed copy of the book and he was thrilled.
