And so it's bigger than just the adults.
You're right.
It gets into the maternals passing on diseases to children.
But when the moms are vaccinated, then they can pass on antibodies or even through breastfeeding, through breastfeeding, they can protect their children from the antibodies from the mom's bodies.
It just it just goes full circle.
It's a domino effect of what will happen if this misinformation is not stopped.
I don't have any questions, but I do want everyone to know.
And, you know, anything I say is my opinion, of course.
But in the public health area, our public health partners like the American Public Health Association, big cities, they are coming out and they're speaking out about the importance of what's happening and how what's happening at CDC is impacting state and local public health.
What people don't realize is that the majority of the funds that we get go directly out the door to state and local programs
Tameka Jackson- That support things that people do every day, including we're talking about vaccines like that's why kids can get vaccines for free, because we pay for those programs.
Tameka Jackson- And you know everything has been extremely difficult over the past few months, and even so, more so this week, yesterday, but um.
You know, yes, I am scared.
And I've worked there over 22 years.
And for us, at least for me, public health has never been a partisan issue.
It's not red or blue.
It's about everyone, everyone in the public sphere, regardless of your walk of life.
And it seems as though these folks have no idea that putting us at risk and
creating distrust in one of the most trusted organizations in the world will literally kill us and them.
So I'm not sure what's going to happen.
