My core belief is that I'm worth something.

So I think all of us know that systems themselves don't change.
Right.
People actually make the difference and change.
And so with Sean's work, we really intentionally focused on people.
and did a lot of training and time intentionally with people and used his first book, Happiness Advantage, and the strategies within Happiness Advantage to focus on our greatest asset, which are the people inside of the intermediate school district, and worked to ensure that the staff and the students inside of the intermediate school district knew that they are valued
that what they do mattered, how they feel mattered, and ensure that... Because isn't that what everybody wants?
Every person, no matter what their role is inside of the school district... Everybody wants to know.
Everybody felt...
that they were important.
This work began around 2012 and it continues today.
It's not just an initiative.
It is a belief of myself.
It's a way of being.
It's a way of being.
When you go to work, the way you show up to work, it's different.
It's a deeper meaning of care so that you are lifting each other every day.
