So the baby boomers are approaching this time in their lives where they are at highest risk.
And that is what's so scary is how many people
in our population are going to be approaching this and there's just like not enough people to care for them because out caring for someone with dementia, it does it's not a one person job.
It's not just like up to the spouse or like one adult daughter.
It takes a village because often they need 24 hour care.
Sometimes there's combative behaviors.
I mean, it is awful.
It is an awful, awful disease.
And so it takes a huge amount of resource.
It's emotionally trying.
It is financially bankrupting.
it is physically very, very demanding to care for someone with dementia.
And so if we can avoid that, and not every story is the same, right?
There's some people who have, you know, the the blissful, the best dementia.
I have one patient who's like, he just says it's the best day, this is the best soup.
This is the best everything.
And he just keeps repeating that.
So they call it the best dementia.
But you you have those people who are blissed out and their dementias.
That's not all, that's not typical.
