This idea of, you know, expanding children's worlds and and h exposing them to knowledge that they might not be exposed to.
So there's a there's some interesting questions that w that spin off from this, but just just to close off this this three pillars thing for now.
Um the third one is about narratives and identity.
Um and so I'll read a little bit again and then we'll just we'll just explode it out a little bit.
Narratives integrate learning into identity.
And again, the work that I've been doing with Howell Roberts around botheredness and you know presenting the curriculum is like you've got a person with a place with a problem.
If you've got those three things, the kids are gonna care about electrolysis now because they understand that they need to help some situation where you need to understand this information to resolve a problem.
problem that you created, they've got an open loop in their heads and that story drives the learning forward.
So you write the learning the the human brain organises experiences into stories that connect past, present and imagined futures.
Narratives enable the default mode network to simulate possibilities, consolidate learning during rest, and construct the sense of self that determines what information will become personally relevant to who we might go on to become.
