It's absolutely rooted in classroom practice and it's all about sort of like recognizing the importance of having just a little bit of i and he talks about walking the line, he's like you don't want to be too rigid, you don't want to be too loose, you just you but you do have to create a space where there is variation around what this thing means so that people can f formulate understandings around that.

And so so um just to close that loop, um like I think that rather than thinking about this as something that exclusively has to happen within the s within subject teaching, as Kate says, you know, there is there are models that you know we we worked on in a school where we developed this over five years.
We've now helped other schools develop this all over the world, in Wales, in China, in South Africa, in Australia.
Recently we're working with a school to help develop a model where you carve out
curriculum time that's separate from subject teaching where this where this meaning making um work can take place.
And it's partly through project based learning, as Kate says, partly through philosophical inquiry, um, partly through um
follow the kids following their interests and all of the things that we've been talking about.

There's so much more distance for this conversation to run.
I really like the idea of having some kind of a conference where we bring together all of these people whose work just fits into this model.
We need a name for it.
There's something that's like the uh I haven't quite formulated this vision in my mind yet, but it feels like there is something really important at the heart of this conversation that has been missing.
