You don't hear about it in public, but you hear it in private conversations.
And that's actually what will happen.
The projected German expenditures, military expenditures, literally outpace both France and Germany.
And they will become, along with Ukraine, the two strongest armies in Europe.
And that is making a lot of people very nervous.
They're asking themselves, is this what we want?
And I think that's something that the United States should be asking itself, too.
Is the more sober-minded people in the United States, is this what we want, frankly?
Now, the Germany of...
today is so far removed from the Germany of the 30s.
I mean, it's the country that
more than any other has looked at what it did in its past, you know, with more honesty and integrity than any other European country examined what it did during World War II, Germany by far.
And it's got a thriving and strong democracy.

And look, they're all in what you would call, you know, Germany sits astride.
It's at the center of Europe.
