And we've all come from a world where we don't matter.

You know, we have to be honest.

It isn't just Jenny Hens was killed.

There's a whole family around that.

There's a whole world around that.

Yes.

And when Richard Haynes left the family home, he started to go to our extended family and he was telling them that I was a non-liar

And that I couldn't be believed before I ever knew there was anything to tell.

Yes.

So we lost, at the divorce, we lost my grandparents, uncle, aunt and cousins on my father's side.

We lost uncle, aunt, cousins.

two grandparents and two children on my mother's side.

And so at the divorce, we lost everybody.

And he went and he made sure that these people knew me through the lens that he gave.

So the abuse doesn't just happen between the perpetrator and the victim.

It happens within family contexts.

And this is something that we really need to understand because how can we help if we're missing half the dynamic?
