It kind of happened here with Brexit.
Nobody really asked the detail and they went, the world, you know, well, they painted buses, but there will be 350 million a week for the NHS if we leave the EU.

Where is that coming from?
They did some fantasy maths, but it was clearly untrue, and yet people believed it, because nobody really unpicked the underlying assumptions.
I think it's lovely.
I think this is a really good idea, but I think you'd have to absolutely stop external input of funding into any political party.

Those with the money have bought the political process and that would have to be reversed.
