Yep.

So I spent most of my time teaching, actually.

So once I got done at Kansas State, made a transition to a small university in southwest Missouri, taught there for a while, and got an opportunity to start an ag program there.

And so I spent a little bit of time doing that.

Worked my way up through the ranks because that's what you do if you're in academia.

Ended up as the dean of the College of Natural and Applied Sciences.

And then I tell people I lied to Tim and he hired me and now he's stuck with me.

It was.

I mean, I was tenured.

I mean, I had plenty of teaching experience.

Just ready for a new challenge, just like you guys.

I mean, why did you guys start a podcast?

Why did you step away from what you're doing?

Yep.

So my mom's family, all farms in Southeast South Dakota, uh, by like the Beersford area.

Yeah.

So grew up along that, always had a huge passion for it.

Uh, it's always what I want to do.

And you just kind of had to figure out a way to make that work.

I mean, no different than you guys.
