Something that obviously we've made the case for in this conversation here is about how obesity is a biological you know, a series of biological systems and, you know, very complex.
It's multifactorial.
It's not just about what goes on in your brain.
Uh I mean it's partially brain, but so many other things.
And I guess GLP one
The conversation about GLP1s and the data about GLP1s validates some of what we're saying in this conversation.
There was a fascinating study that I came across where they looked at fMRI, so brain imaging studies, and they showed photographs of high calorie, high density foods to people with obesity and lean individuals.
And the brain reward pathways associated with food in the obese individual.
Had greater activation for that same food than the lean individuals, suggesting that the signal, the appetite signal, is higher.
in certain individuals with food noise, which, you know, GLP one therapy ended up suppressing.
The food perception scores came down for those on GLP one therapy.
So we know that there is something there with GLP1s dampening those hormonal signals and neurological cues.
Do you think that significantly changed the conversation around obesity now that we have GLP ones and even people who are not obese and who just have maybe mind
food noise, experience that neurological quitening of food cues and that urge and that temptation to eat, even with independent of, you know, hunger states.
I guess, you know, there's a lot of behavioural strategies for people to lose weight.
