Maybe occultations.

I did see a poster once at a meeting where people were trying to calculate could you actually, for something that distant, measure the occultation.

And they thought it was maybe possible.

So maybe.

But the density, when you spread them out in a sphere like that, is really low.

So I think the odds of catching an event at the right time are really low.

And they'd be very fast.

You have to do high cadence observations.

I'm not going to hold my breath on that.

But it is technically possible, but not direct observations.
