So you've got two four hour
shifts with a handover at midday, which allows really robust access across all types of walk-in online and telephone.
And then that allows a practice, two and a half hours at the end of the working day.
To focus on urgence via telephones and walk-in, to mop up what needs to be done from administratively, and then the next day you start again.
And that will really go down well with the profession.
It would be so pragmatic.
It will be born out of evidence that you yourself have government.
And it was very much, no, no, we're not doing that.
It would look embarrassing.
We can't retract the regulations as they're going through Parliament.

Being embarrassed to make a change of plan when you're acting on the tangible evidence, that's not embarrassing, that's intelligence.
So that is frustrating.
Anybody coming in is gonna have to be fleet of foot intellectually and able to argue on their feet quickly and look for those opportunities that might arise from any possibility.
Compel my thoughts onto my successor, I don't think it would mean very much in terms of direction because it's collective action by its very nature.
