The connection was there, but I'm not done yet.
And he literally crumbled in front of me.
Like his face crumbled.
And then he just awakened.
And he was like, a woman's never spoke to me before about her body.
And I just thought, wow, what a great man to actually admit that.
And I'm not going to chronicle our sex life here and say how great Dave is because people are trying to steal him.
But the truth is,
But the truth is, you know, that set a path for our relationship, not just in terms of how we were intimately, but how we were in terms of our communication with each other, like the honesty.
Like he loves me for the honesty that I have and my unwillingness to accept less than what I deserve.
that's part of you, and he goes, yeah, that's what I signed up for.
We had the launch, you know, and he was in the audience.
I actually, Dave has, and this is interesting as an observation, but Dave has more issues with me talking about other men than I've been with in the book than him.
Oh, right.
And I actually think that relates a lot to some of the themes that I'm talking about in the book, like that women are not supposed to have slept with a lot of men, you know, and I've slept with a few, if Dave's listening, it's only a few women.
But yeah, so he feels uncomfortable.
Yeah, it does.
But also, yeah, he doesn't, he actually, I asked him, like, I would never write about anything that he's uncomfortable with.
And he just said to me, I think men need to learn this, that we're not all that and that it's really important that we communicate with our wives or our partners about their bodies.
And I really love him more for that at the end of the day.
