If I want to get sick, if I want to risk COVID, if I want to risk whatever disease, that's my God-given right.

I have a right to do that.

And you can't force people in the same way we don't force them to go to a gym.

We don't force them to not eat fast food.

We can't force them to not have multiple sexual partners.

People have a right to make decisions about how risky they want to be with their health.

So the concept of the mandate was flawed from day one.

Well, it is.

And I think people misunderstand what certainly my stance is.

I believe in personal medical freedom.

Autonomy is one of the four pillars of medical ethics.

And it is based on the idea that you have a right to choose what you do with your own body.

So if somebody wants to get these shots, by all means, have at it.

I don't care if you get 8 or 10 or 12.

I just want to have my choice.

And part of this is based on the fact that fundamentally, you and I were lied to during medical school.

What we were taught about vaccines simply isn't the case.

I, for one, was taught, and I'm sure you were as well, for example, that it was the polio vaccine that is responsible for having ended the scourge of polio in this country.

That simply isn't the case.
