Why did she marry you to start with would be my question.

But, hey, let's not go there.

I'm very opposed to that.

All the SSRIs are pregnancy class C, which means that we've got enough research on them to know that they're not going to cause a monstrous birth defect.

or they're not going to kill your unborn baby, right?

We have enough research to know that they're relatively safe.

But here's what we don't have any of.

We have no long-term data showing that if a pregnant mom is taking Lexapro while she's pregnant, what's that going to do to that unborn child's mental health 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 years from now?

Nobody knows the answer to that, and obviously nobody cares.

I tend to agree.

Don't even try to get off the SSRI until you fix your diet.

You got to fix your diet first because if you're still eating the junk...

you're not going to be able to get off of it.

You're going to have a relapse and you'll have to go back up on your dose.

The vast majority of the SSRIs, you have to wean them very, very slowly.

You cannot just stop taking them.

And so if you're like, you meet the perfect guy, you get married, now you want to have a baby, but you're on Lexapro.
