So laser depigmentation is basically lifelong.
The pigment ain't going to come back.
The iris implants, well, they last for as long as the implant can be tolerated.
And the studies basically show that the longer it is in there, the more damage it does.
And so I looked at it and the time to explantate, so, you know, a lot of these are explanted at the hospital where I used to work in London.
So you've seen a lot of this.
And so the explantations, the average time to explantation is just under four years.
By then, the damage is so great that although you can reverse the eye color, you can't reverse the damage done to the eye.
The irreversible damage to the cornea, irreversible damage to the drainage pathway, the glaucoma, everything that happens, the cataracts.
And that's why they're like illegal.
Not just here, everywhere.
They're like, don't do it.
Highly, highly unethical.
They're ophthalmologists.
