So you could get a referral to your local ophthalmologist from your GP or you could walk into your optometrist in your local shopping centre without a referral and say, this is what's happened.
They would then refer you on to me or maybe directly to a hospital to have it removed immediately depending.

And is there a similar one in each state?
There is the Sydney Eye Hospital, but also just about every tertiary hospital, so every big hospital, has ophthalmology.
So, you know, the Alfred or Royal Melbourne or in Sydney, RPA or Royal Perth or whatever.
So you can walk in any of them, you know, don't need a referral, just walk in.
So, you know, don't sit around on it.
So, I mean, like the iris implants should be removed immediately if you find them.
and then treat the complications.
So if they need glaucoma surgery, you do that.
Cataract surgery, you do that.
Corneal transplant, you do that.
