So, keratopigmentation is relatively new.
So, it's done using a femtosecond laser, which is the same laser that you have for laser eye surgery.
But instead of creating like a flap to do LASIK, it's actually used to make tunnels.
So they make tunnels in your cornea, about 50% depth in your cornea, and then they inject dye into the tunnels.
However, they spare the central five millimetres so you can see.
Otherwise, your pupil won't get light.
So I've got all of that for you as we go through it.
It's just rogue over in Turkey.
Well, it's not just rogue in Turkey.
There's a couple guys in Manhattan.
There's people in Europe that are doing it.
So they inject dye into the tunnel and then, you know, in the short term, the eye's really, really bright in colour, but then it slowly fades with time.
