I think the deep reading of that, I know that there's a kind of historical reading that talks about kind of this multiplicity of God, and then one God emerges and says, no, it's really me.
I think that's a human projection on the story.
I think it's more like, and I think this is actually,
universal truth right not owned by any one religion which is there's one power right and there's one god but by one god we don't mean and this is where monotheism is misunderstood a one god means only this one and all the rest are out no one god means this one and all the rest are in
Right?
Right?
Meaning there's one God, there's one force.
That force has many faces, many names.
You know, Mat and Geist and Atman is Brahman and Adonai Elohim and the Great Sky and Christ and Yud-Heh-Vav-Heh.
Right?
And, you know, the list goes on.
Right?
And, you know, and Bohm comes and talks about the implicate order, you know, etc.
So, it's the one God with many names and
The only idolatry is the claim that one facet of God says, I'm the only God.
That would be idolatry.
I mean, it's very, it's like, whoa, right?
It's like, whoa, it's like, and if we really get that
one face of God, and we'll go deeper, but just for now, for a second, let's say that one face of God is value.
Let's just do it that way for a second.
