But basically, so part of it is patience is that the bigger the discovery is, it may take longer and be more difficult to achieve.

And so part of it is, like I said, the discomfort about new ideas, which is, I know, totally backwards, but also patience.

People just are so impatient nowadays.

We live in a culture of we want everything now, now, now.

And sometimes discoveries take 30, 50, 80 years or hundreds of years of trying and failing.

And that does mean that that thing you're looking for doesn't exist.

Sometimes it does, and you're wrong.

But sometimes it means you just didn't try hard enough for long enough.

Well, it was, it's more than it's, it's much more so that I have a general skillset by being a PhD scientist, experimental scientist.

So I do have some specific skills like radiation detection that I carried over, but really it's more like a, um, a generic skillset.

So for example, as a grad student, I worked on a particular type of dark matter experiment called the bubble chamber.

And I learned about image processing.

video processing, and obviously I'm using them for UFO images and photos.

So it's really about having a general skillset.

And also by being an academic, having a PhD in a STEM field, I learned how to learn.

Not just learned knowledge, but in graduate school, more so than college, it wasn't just about filling, it's not about filling heads with facts with advanced degrees like master's and PhD.

It's about actually learning how to learn.

And so that's really what I'm taking is the scientific method in general and knowing how to learn and sort of the generalized skills I have.

It's not as simple as like, oh, I'm bringing, you know, just one thing to the table.

I feel like in childhood watching unsolved mysteries, Star Trek, the next generation, you know, by aliens, but unsolved mysteries, there would be like, you know, you know, murderer, kidnapper, racist aliens.
