I think that fathers today, and it's worse than when you and I started talking back in 15 years, they're so maligned.
They're so marginalized.
They're told by our culture, nobody needs you.
Your kids don't need you.
Just sort of step out of the way.
And the exact opposite.
opposite is true.
We need good dads, good men to step up and engage, and particularly with their daughters now.
And so that's why I really believe the message of the book is more pertinent and powerful now than it was 15 years ago.
Absolutely.
And the interesting thing is, and I need fathers to realize this, you don't need to overhaul your personality.
You don't need a PhD in psychology.
By implementing some very simple steps and strategies, you can dramatically change your daughter's life.
outcome, success, relationships across the board.
And fathers don't know this.
And that's my job and my mission is to really grab hold of fathers and say, if you only realize how important you are in your daughter's life and in your son's as well, your life would never be the same.
Well, you know, you take a divorced dad who's living on his own and he's having daughters over the weekend and he just feels very insecure.
Or you have fathers whose daughters are estranged.
You know, and incidentally, I'm talking about daughters who are 4 to 44 to 84 years.
Every daughter wants more of her dad.
