And this idea that we're like searching for something
and that there's gonna be like a blood test or something that shows this whole constellation, that doesn't exist.
And so when medical providers are in a different paradigm
And the health care system is interfering with the clinician being able to access all of this.
I really think this is a hopelessness situation.
I think so many patients, they share that they not only have felt, you know, invalidated, dismissed.
Many people use the term gaslighted through health care experiences.
And why would I seek health care?
That's that place where they hurt me and nothing good happens.
Only bad things happen.
And we see this even amongst adults who incurred health care trauma as a young person.
This really stays in the nervous system for some time.
You know, maybe there was restraint involved with vaccines or dental care or something.
And you walk in and you see the fluorescent light.
And it's not just the sensory experience, the fluorescent light.
It's the trauma response to the other time you were in a place that looked and felt like this.
And so one of the things that we've been very intentional about is having the environment not look and feel like a traditional health care environment because you walk in and you don't even get to interact with me.
If you walk in and you see the thing that takes your body back to that time, we're done.
You're done.
You can't access health care today, at least not fully.
