This, I just went along and just revelled in it.

I still play football at the age of 56.

I love that.

I'm slowing down.

I'm in goal most of the time.

But I love stopping other people from scoring.

It's a buzz, yeah?

It's a free buzz.

It's the indoor thing.

I love talking to people who have similar life experiences.

I talk to medical students every year at Glasgow University, tell them my story.

And every year, invariably someone comes up and they've got a friend or a peer or themselves that have had similar issues.

And it's fabulous just telling people where you've been, where you are now, trying to sort of like help others.

And that's kind of like doing service.

You know, we go into medicine to do service, to help people.

I've got a foot in both camps and I can say, well, this is where I was at.

And if I'm helping people, I'm less selfish and self-centred and takey, which is where I used to be.

I think I've changed over that time.
