A couple different things.
One is if you start learning about how your body works, you're going to start to make different decisions because so often we make decisions every single day from a place of routine, habit, or what is comfortable instead of making them from a place of knowledge and from a goal-oriented mindset.
So we're going to start to make different decisions right away.
This is going to impact our health now, our health in the future.
If we want to be pregnant one day, it will impact our journey on that fertility spectrum, whether we're going to go through IVF or freeze eggs.
But your fertility is a health marker, meaning I don't think fertility is just the ability to get pregnant.
It is the proper communication of your hormones.
It's a state of metabolic health.
And when I say that...
Women who have infertility have a higher rate of chronic disease, cancer, stroke, metabolic syndrome, heart attack, early death.
Really scary big words.
And none of that is because infertility causes it, but it's because infertility is representing a state of health at the cellular level that gives you the opportunity to intervene now and change your health journey later.
Look, fertility is a team sport.
It's 50-50, meaning 50% of infertility is due to male factors and 50% is due to female factors.
In addition to that, you said it, life is unjust.
Women have a harder time overcoming some of the things that have happened to us as we get older.
Our eggs are in our body our whole life.
They accumulate wear and tear and damage.
And some of that we can't undo.
Men make 1500 sperm a second.
