Again, I didn't know that.
Again, it's a really simple thing that you can do.
It's very simple.
You can actually drink too much water.
So just as dehydration is a state where you have too little water in your body, there's another term, it's hyperhydration, which means that you have too much water in your body.
And essentially, then you start to, so I said earlier, everything's concentration dependent, right?
So then you start to dilute all the ingredients, all the salts and other components of your body that you actually need for the various different chemical reactions.
So they get diluted, and that also has a negative effect.
It's a little bit harder to do that because your body will obviously like remove the water that it doesn't need, whereas it can't create water that doesn't exist, right?
So that's less of a sort of health risk and less prevalent, but it does exist.
So if you drink more water than your kidneys can process within an hour, your water level is going to come up.
It's going to affect your heart.
You're going to have a whole host of other different problems as well.
Yeah, I think it's something that's come up.
I think people actually do know what they mean.
I just think they probably don't know what the word means because it's kind of come to the fore recently.
You've probably heard of things like minerals or salts, right?
Electrolytes are the same.
The difference being that salt, sodium chloride is the classic salt, sea salt, table salt.
It's an ion of sodium, an ion of chloride.
