They are the quintessential, like they're the most important person in the room.
They do play a significant role, obviously.
Right.
However, they cannot care for that patient successfully without anesthesia and the scrub techs and everybody else.
And it's the teams that recognize that we all have a role to play.
And I know there's been a lot of work around introducing each other.
This is my role.
So everybody knows what their role is, which is really important.
So you level the playing field here.
Like I'm the surgeon.
I have a role.
You're anesthesia.
You have a role.
You're this role.
And every role is equally as valued.
As you were talking, the whole familiarity and the challenge that we have right now with, if you look at, and I'll just say nurses right now, it used to be you would have new nurses, you would have nurses who are five years, 10 years, 15, 20, 40, okay?
Now we have new nurses and we have 30-year veterans, okay?
We've lost the middle.
And David, this has come up because we do a lot of work in periop, you know, looking at disruptive behaviors and culture and making it a healthy work culture.
This comes up a lot where some of the anesthesia, anesthesiologists, the surgeons will verbalize their frustration over losing experienced nurses.
