Oh my God.
So literally the 11th hour of the 11th day, right before Trump's about to be inaugurated, the Biden department of justice decides to appeal this case, despite the fact that they got smacked in the face by this judge, a 93 page opinion.
And he, he completely ripped them apart in his opinion.
But they appealed it.
And now I'm facing a new trial, which is going to be in January.
So I have to go through this nightmare scenario again, which nearly bankrupted us the first time.
I don't know how we're going to pay for it the second time.
But I'm trying to get someone in the Trump administration to say this is a clear case of weaponization.
It's a selective and vindictive prosecution for sure.
And it's already been adjudicated, for God's sakes.
The chief judge of Maryland, who, by the way, isn't some right-wing judge.
He was appointed by Obama.
And even he saw through it.
I mean, he said such things as the government did not carry its burden and no reasonable jury could have so concluded.
That's a direct quote.
Quote, the evidence weighs so heavily in favor of the defendant that it would be unjust to enter judgment against him.
He said, you know, there can, of course, be no crimes if the defendant complied with the rules.
And then to make it even worse for the government.
The AMA wrote an amicus brief to the court on my behalf.
So did the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons and the State Medical Society of Maryland.
