But I know for a fact a lot of people are no longer with us because of the government, and they either have to be hospitalized or they're dead.
And I'll tell you, evil is the best word, 100% evil.
I will tell you, ivermectin, you brought up ivermectin.
So during the pandemic, I decided I had a couple of patients.
I said, you know what?
I'm going to try to write for ivermectin for these people.
Now I'm a board certified Johns Hopkins trained emergency medicine doctor.
In my entire career, so I finished residency in 2003.
In my entire career, I've never been called by a pharmacist to ask for an ICD-10 code, for a diagnosis code for why I'm writing a prescription, except during COVID.
I wrote for ivermectin, and every time I wrote for it, the pharmacist would call me and say, I need a diagnosis code.
And I said, no, you don't.
And I said, that would be a HIPAA violation, to be honest with you, because...
Your job is to fill the prescription and teach the patient about the medication and side effects.
That's your job.
My job is to diagnose and treat.
And I said, respectfully, you have no business asking for this.
Every single time I would get a call from the pharmacist saying, I need an ICD-10 code.
And I said, no, because they wanted to know if I was writing for it for a parasitic infection or for COVID.
And I refused to give it and they wouldn't fill the prescription.
And I've never, ever, and I've written for all sorts of crazy things.
