We talk about people get the flu.
It's not always caused by influenza.
It can be caused by other viruses also.
So, you know, the constellation of symptoms, yes, it was very similar to other things.
So yes, it could have been, you know, whatever you want to call it.
But I do believe that this was something new that we hadn't seen before.

And the answer is yes.
Not the ones obviously designed for COVID, because again, it's the lock and key.
It has to be specific to that virus.
And to your point, remember, hantavirus, pulmonary syndrome, it was a big thing like a month ago, right?
The media and the government tried to scare us again because, oh my God, the next thing that's going to get us is hantavirus.
It's a real virus.
It does kill a very, very, very, very small number of people a year, but it's real.
There are two monoclonal antibodies currently in, I think it's phase two or phase three trials to fight the hantavirus pulmonary syndrome.
So to answer your question,
For influenza, sure, they could develop monoclonal antibodies.
The problem is it's really not cost-effective because there's not enough people that would need them, and it takes a while to develop them, so the flu mutates quickly.
