And I said, you know, I've got a car and a stereo.

I live in the barracks.

was the first realization that, wow, I'm in the Air Force and I could be sent to a battle zone where I could be killed.

Wow.

And then an interesting side note to that is when I was little and I will say maybe five or six years old, I had a dream that I fell in sand and bled out that I died.

And I remember that.

And so when I get activated to go to Iran for a war, I'm thinking, oh, my God, there's this dream that I've always remembered.

And I'm going to a sandy environment where I might die.

So when the helicopters crashed, it was called Operation Eagle Claw when they were going to try to go in and rescue the hostages.

When the helicopter ran into the C-130 over there, the mission was scrubbed.

And I thought to myself, wow, maybe that was just a stupid dream and then I don't have to worry about it.

But then 20 years later, after 9-11 and I get mobilized in the National Guard to go to Iraq again or to the first time for Iraq.

But I'm thinking, oh, that dream still persistent.

I might not come home.

But thankfully, I hear you here and maybe I'll fall down drunk at Cabo.

And that's why I don't know.

Hopefully, I don't go for a long time.

But anyway, it's just one of those things that when you have that realization that you could be terminated, that is a cause for reflection and say, am I really doing the right thing?
