I think it's such a brilliant question, and I feel very lucky to be able to answer it because I've just recently drafted a policy briefing.
Um, I guess I'm going to be cheeky and kind of expand it here.
So there are three core recommendations that I would make.
And this includes the need to agree a national case, a case for national action to address the structural barriers affecting women GPs.
We need to invite officials to work with NHS England to develop and implement.
Policy actions using existing contractual, regulatory, and workforce levers, particularly around things like leveraging the recently renewed women's health strategy.
And for any action to signal intent that workforce sustainability, fairness, and productivity will be addressed through system design and not individual resilience.
You know, what this looks like practically in terms of again leveraging and lobbying for change is things like.
mandating flexibility as a workforce standard, reforming workload measures, introducing fairness first workload frameworks, investment in career development and leadership pathways, and then finally measuring and evaluating equity and wellbeing impacts.
So there are my kind of key things there.
