And so I'm bilingual and I speak Spanish.

And so just really passionate about doing clinical work with the Latinx community.

So when I was in my undergrad, I was really interested in working with kids and working kind of more in the...

education field.

And so I worked in a lot of after school programs.

I worked for like the Boys and Girls Club, I did AmeriCorps.

And that work was really meaningful.

And I, you know, I still carry so many of the like amazing memories that I made in working with children.

But what I noticed is that when I was working with the kids, a lot of them came from some challenging backgrounds.

And even though they had these amazing programs that they were attending with me after school, I didn't feel like it was enough to really make an impact in their lives.

I could spend two, three hours with them after school, but then they would kind of go back home to sometimes homes that didn't have a lot of resources, homes where the parent relationship wasn't great.

And I kept asking myself, like, what more can I do?

I would spend weekends with them, take them on field trips.

And I still kept coming across this, like, I don't know, just kind of inner challenge of like, I need to be doing more.

I want to help in another way.

And so then I started researching different programs, different schools.

And a friend had always told me, you need to go to Alliant.

Alliant trains really good therapists.

You need to go look into it.

So I started looking into Alliant.
