But the light, the knowledge, the consciousness, that's what should be the focus.
And instead, people start murdering each other over the lantern.
Over the lantern.
And that's looking at the lantern and forgetting about the message of the light altogether.
And it's the same thing with the analogy you just used about the bridge.
And I think this is a bit of wisdom that we all need to start talking about more.
And it isn't that you can't identify with a tradition or a religion, but you also have to add to it a very universal perspective in a time where we're not only emerging religions,
trying to emerge as a global civilization, but an interplanetary civilization.
I mean, people think it's a challenge to deal with race and all these other things, but we're already being confronted with the fact that there are civilizations out there wanting to establish open contact with us, but instead we've been shooting them down with advanced electromagnetic weapon systems.
But we need humans to understand that the foundation
for a relationship between humans and non-human intelligent life from other planets, what is it going to be?
It's got to be something transcendent at the level of consciousness itself.
And it's interesting because when you look into the eyes of an ET being, and I have, an extraterrestrial being, behind whatever external form it is,
and intellect and emotion and all the superficial things.
They're conscious and awake.
And I'm conscious and awake.
And that's a singularity.
That's what Erwin Schrödinger talked about, that the mind is itself a singularity.
And when you realize that, you realize, ah, that's where we're brothers.
That's where we're all one.
