How would you describe that for those who are listening?

So what is I I I'm I there will be listeners who will have heard of different learning theories like constructivism.

Uh but you mentioned an activism and I guess the question would be, well, what is say an activism say versus constructivism, say versus other learning theories?

Um yeah.

Very useful.

You've you've covered a lot of territory very quickly there.

And these these might seem very simple questions to listeners, but they're not.

And I think you are shining a light on the complexity here of some of these kind of um I'm gonna call them learning theories because most people understand what these mean and

Uh and I before we go on a little bit more to talk a little bit about embodiment and the role of embodiment um in learning and so on, particularly mathematics and so on.

I mentioned constructivism before.

Now I don't I don't wanna I don't wanna get bogged down too heavy here, but I mentioned constructivism because the dominance within education is writ large.

And there might be a lot of there might be some teachers or educators or listening and they'll go, Well, okay, great answer, Dor, but what's the difference between an activism and constructivism, for instance?

Okay.

Uh you know, you mentioned the you mentioned the four stages of cognitive development.

I mean I this stuff is still taught today.

I you know and

I and I and um and I always say that there are kind of three theories that have taught still today.

One's the computational model, which is you've already spoken about, you know, input output.

The other one, you know, um, I call it the computational model, you know, the processing model.
