And so I wanted, yeah, I definitely wanted you to be part of those conversations.
And I wanted to have others that were really thinking that, gosh, we have such an amazing opportunity to be innovative for, you know, really break through technology integration into this story organization.

And yeah, I had just been through a lot.
I had been through so much in just that short period of time.
But again, I'll just say that the staff that I was working with at the CDC, they were also hoping, you know, that this wasn't going to be the defining moment for the CDC over the, you know, the coming, you know, days, months, years.
They recognized that what happened on August 8th was, um,
was terrible.
Um, but you know, you know, where do we go from here?
And they, you know, I was already getting so much, um, positive support to like, okay, we're going to have to fix things.
Restoring public trust was the top priority, but then modernizing public health infrastructure, which is what, you know, this, this whole, um, opportunity to innovate.
I mean, that was going to be another core pillar of where we went.
And yeah, I mean, uh, just, uh, you know, me now I am very, I am optimistic and ambitious and I still, well,

I mean, it,
I think you said it right.
These people are incredibly dedicated.
I mean, dedicated, smart, smart individuals.
And, you know, I don't even know the breadth and the depth of what's happening on the personnel changes.
I know the very small number of people that I've worked with.
