And when I was flying into D.C., the Wi-Fi wasn't working for quite some time.
And then it finally came on.
And it was, it was the worst.
I started seeing texts of my staff and that, you know, the first notifications coming in, something's happening here, something's happening here.
And we don't know what it is.
And then I, and then some were sending me these, these bullet holes in the windows and,
I was like, we know somebody's been shot.
And it was just, even now, I get goosebumps just thinking about the feeling of extraordinary helplessness as I'm 10,000 feet trying to, you know, 30,000.
And I finally get down.
get into the airport terminal and I'm calling my senior staff and I'm, you know, trying to set up our first, our first call, our first conference call at, you know, something like six o'clock at night.
And I, and I, you know, I can't take it in the, in the airport.
So I finally get down to the airport basement.
And, and so it was just,
the heartache from the senior leaders knowing, you know, the, the, it had been almost 200 bullets.
We didn't know the total count at the time.
We didn't even know, you know, if everyone was okay.
And, and we got all the senior leaders on that call.
And I remember just sitting in the basement parking ramp at national airport, just trying to figure out what happened, how, you know, where is everyone?
And, you know, and at that point, I think,
the federal marshals were just starting to come in to clear the buildings.
