But that's the point.

I mean, think about it.

You know, you hear from someone who, you know, I see this all the time, like somebody who's behaving badly and I feel really bad for them.

I think this is going to come back to bite you.

I love it.

One of my favorite things I ever told my son when he was in high school was the choices you make today determine the choices you will have tomorrow.

I think that we don't realize that, that we are making choices every single minute, every single day, and it sets the stage for the opportunities that flow to you in the future.

I mean, I don't know if you know I'm a neuroscientist, right?

So I certainly, I'm not going to answer this from a neuroscience perspective, but it's kind of fun that you asked me about the brain.

I think a lot of it has to do with the story people tell about who they are in the world.

that we all have a story, not just the story we tell about ourselves, but also the story other people tell us about ourselves.

You know, we're constantly integrating, you know, how people are treating us and how we think about the opportunities.

And sometimes we don't take opportunities because we don't think we deserve them or we don't think we can do it.

You know, we limit ourselves.
