I'm going to be taking over my family's business.

And I'm here in Silicon Valley to learn about entrepreneurship.

I said, so interesting.

I run the Entrepreneurship Center at the School of Engineering at Stanford.

Here's my business card if I can be helpful.

Well, he reached out, and I introduced him to some people who could be helpful.

He ended up bringing an entourage of people to Stanford.

I helped them just secure a space, things that were easy for me to do.

End of that story, but we had sort of stayed in very loose touch.

I then, two years later, was going to Chile.

I was running a conference in Santiago.

So I reached out to him and I said, hi, would you like to get a cup of coffee?

And he said, sure, that sounds great.

But as the time came up, he said, I can't get away.

But do me a favor, bring a couple of your colleagues with you and meet in the lobby of my building, my company's building.

So I grabbed a couple of people, didn't know what was going to happen.

We went over there.
