Living in a constant state of hypervigilance is exhausting. matched

Until the threat feels resolved, it's difficult for the brain to fully relax. matched

And I think this just reflects their desperation for a resolution. matched

The lengthy cooling off periods we've seen in the past really do seem to be changing because this is the second attack that was within months of the last one. matched

So it's likely unrelated to the arrest of the ambulance driver and more likely related to potential changes in his own circumstances. matched

We talked about those dormant periods, sometimes it's life circumstance, obligations, or behavioral substitutes that had temporarily satisfy aspects of their family that allow them to have these cooling off periods. matched
