You don't just have two knees with osteoarthritis.
There's something going on there that's systemic.
And two hips, two shoulders, what have you.

I would tell them always, I'm like, you need to cook the shit out of yourself.
We have to get you to a point where you can handle heat and you can handle it efficiently.
That is step one.
And it's not just detox and it's not just sweating.
It's everything you just said, but I need you to figure out how to get hot.
And I remember when COVID hit our shores, I made a post on Instagram about getting hot and people were like, oh, you're such an idiot.
You can't cook COVID out of you.
I'm like, that's not what I'm talking about.
But if we can get your core temperature up and we start to ignite all kinds of good systems into play and you will become more resilient against any kind of upper respiratory onslaught.
But my whole point was going back to my patients of like, if we can get somebody heat tolerant, and I always taught my husband jokes because he's very cold tolerant and he's very heat tolerant and I'm not as much and women tend not to be as much.
And it's really important that people hone that skill.
Like being cold tolerant and heat tolerant is a huge sign of vitality.
And without it, when someone says I can't handle the cold, I can't handle the heat at all, I'm like, oh, this is a tougher case, you know?
