Yeah, I think actually most people misunderstand what IBS is, but specifically it's when your gut and your brain don't communicate well.
And so then you have either diarrhea, constipation, or both.
So abnormal changes in your bowel movements.
And then you also have pain or discomfort associated with it.
And there's no perfect test for it.
When you look inside the gut, we don't see any visual signs of inflammation.
Hence, it's irritable bowel syndrome.
Yeah.
So this is technically considered a disorder brain-gut interaction.
