So it's basically you're just getting rid of excess air in your digestive tract and it needs to go somewhere.

Yeah, so there's also certain kinds of foods called FODMAPs.
So these are types of carbohydrates that are highly fermentable.
And so shallots, garlic, pretty much all sorts of onion, broccoli, cauliflower.
These are other common offenders.
Yeah, so the loud ones are typically made out of gases such as hydrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide.
So it's really from swallowed air.
So as you're eating, you swallow a certain amount of air.
