You were thinking about that of your pro basketball career.
How did you make that transition?
Because the transition out of sport is very hard for a lot of athletes with the identity piece and things of that nature.
So what was that transition like for you?
Did you know you wanted to venture into teaching after you were done playing or, you know, what was your mindset in that space, you know, a long time ago?
Thank you very much.
I appreciate all the context and lengthy answers.
That's what this show is for.
So thank you.
But yeah, there's always been an affinity, I think, in the business world for athletes.
Because before social media, all you saw was the game.
All you saw was the athlete.
All you saw was the cool shit they did on the court and the championship win.
Now, maybe...
the one or a couple of positives that come from socials.
Now we can see sort of the background of an athlete, the grind, you know, the lonely gyms, all this stuff, like getting cut from your team, having so much doubt heading into a game, not knowing if you're going to make it, you know, as a struggling athlete, am I going to make the team?
Am I going to get cut?
Where do I, you know, how do I have money for a trainer and a coach?
All these types of things that happen.
And so now people can honestly relate to an athlete because that's how they feel in their life.
