I said, I didn't know.

I wanted to be an engineer of some kind at the, at the time I wanted to be an environmental engineer, whatever that meant.

I was interested in energy even then.

Right.

Um, and he was like, well, you know, you should check out Stanford.

It's beautiful.

And it's got one of the best engineering schools and, and it helped that it was far from my parents.

So I felt like I was kind of, you know, able to do my own thing.

And when I got in, I just moved across the country and I've kind of lived across the country ever since, to be honest.

I think he's an incredible entrepreneur.

I learned an immense amount working at Tesla for 18 years.

I mean, I directly reported to him for six of those 18 years.

And yeah, he's an inspiration to, you know, everybody in the organization to be the best version of themselves.

You know, one thing that I learned from Elon probably more than anything else is that

there isn't really like this concept of good enough.

Like that doesn't really exist.

If you're thinking about product development or organizational building or anything like that, you know, there's no such thing as like the budget.

Like, yeah, you can spend that amount or it can weigh that amount.

Everything is always too heavy or too expensive or not performant enough.
