I was trying to find a way to surprise him, yeah, you know, by asking him to be my presenter.
And so I was actually gonna fly to him.
You know, I was gonna go to Denver or, you know, wherever he was and surprise him.
So my wife and his wife were kind of you know planning this.
And then all of a sudden, I I I just happened to FaceTime him and he was with all of the Saints guys.
They were they were they were on a golf trip.
And I was like, okay, this is actually the perfect.
perfect moment 'cause he's got all these people around him too.
And so I I I I I I think you I think you've got a very surprised, shocked
And then emotional Sean Payton just because it came out of nowhere.
You know, it's maybe like the knock for me, you know, when Dan Fowls comes and knocks on my door and I, you know, you have no idea that's gonna happen you you just totally get set up.
Um yeah, I I think normally we're used to seeing a a pretty fiery, intense Sean Payton, you know.
And so you you you got to see a different side of him.
Yeah, here's the thing.
Like I I've got a great relationship with Bo Nicks.
Um we we've had a lot of conversations over the last few years.
Um, you know, as he was uh was drafted by um the Broncos and j I mean just talking quarterback play, talking preparation, talking a lot of things.
Um certainly stay in touch with Sean Payton and a lot of guys.
