So it's called the fresh start effect because that motivation is real.
Like we're all motivated around those.
It creates a good little story, a before and after story.
This was me before COVID.

The problem is, is that we're not actually addressing like the adaptations underneath that.
And we have to do that by just targeting the behavior, the single behaviors that we've been talking about.
Wait almost 30 more days, yeah, yeah.
So the other one though is what they call ironic process theory.
And we've talked about this a little bit before I think, but you know, just the quick example is Mark, don't think of a white bear.

He came up with this, you know, and the things that we try to suppress and not do are usually the things that are the most salient to us.
And so we just end up doing them or we ruminate on them too much that we can't get them out of our heads.
We obsess over them.
