And yet there, I mean, if someone uses it ignorantly, I give them a pass, especially if it's illustrating something that is true.

That, you know, so it's not the intention is good.

But there's a bigger issue here too.

I talk to a lot of Christians that they'll tell me something that I know is, is very

Like uh they have an interpret interpretation of a certain text that is ridiculous, or or they're like into numerology and they're reading this in the text and stuff like that.

Right.

And then I and usually I am the the mansplainer who's like, actually, you know, I went to seminary and I'm gonna okay, that's fine.

Uh, but then I realize as maybe I've matured a little bit or maybe I've just gotten complacent, I'm like, this wacky sort of theology they have or idea they have is actually facilitating their spiritual life somehow.

It gets them excited about God and stuff.

And so am I being like a jerk when I'm the wet blanket?
